MARRIED. In South Bend, Ind., Oct. 7th, by Elder David Miller, Lem. M. Staples Esq., acting Post Master at South Bend to Miss Harriet E. Miller

Note: unknown is Lemuel M. Staples or Harriet Miller's connection to Clayton county, but it is presumed that because they are called "our young friends" that they may have lived in Clayton county at some time prior to the marriage or had good friends there.
