Schultz - Walther marriage - 1909

On Thanksgiving Day Miss Emma L. Walther, of this city, was united in marriage to Fred C. Schultz, of Postville. The wedding took place at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Christine Walther. Rev. Franke performed the ceremony. The bride was assisted by Miss Elsie Schultz, of Postville, and Will Walther, of this city, served as best man. The new couple will settle on a farm near Postville. Those present from out of town were, Mrs. Anna B. Schultz, Miss Elsie Schultz, mother and sister of the groom, Walter, Luver and Geo. Schultz and family, all of Postville, and John Falb and daughter Mary, of Elgin.
