MONONA: Howard Bernhard, of Monona, was married to Miss Alice Olson, of St. Olaf, Saturday afternoon in the Methodist parsonage in Galena, Ill., by Rev. W. S. Feldwisch. The attendants were Miss Verla Pettinger and Elvie Drahn, of Monona. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Olson of St. Olaf, while the groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence G. Bernhard of Monona. He is employed in the local creamery as assistant.
