Burke - Struckman marriage - 1934

Mr. and Mrs. William Struckman announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Dorotthy Marie, to Harold J. Burke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Burke, which took place January 19, at St. Mary's Catholic church, Rev. J. P. Boyle officiating. They were attended by Miss Dorothy Burke and Harry Raders, sister and uncle of the groom.

The bride graduated from the Strawberry Point high school with the class of 1929 and since that time has been a rural teacher. The groom graduated from the local school in the class of 1930, being employed for three years by the Oelwein Laundry Co., until recently going into partnership with the "Fashion Cleaners" of Oelwein.
