Shepard - Davis marriage - 1905

Last Wednesday at high noon, at the home of the bride's father, Joe Davis, occurred the marriage of his youngest daughter, Mabel, to Lon Shepard, of Red Oak, Rev. O. C. DePuy officiating. The bride has always lived here and is now one of our best teachers. The groom comes highly recommended. They left that evening for Denver, Colo., to spend a few weeks, after which they will return to Red Oak, their future home.
