Beers - Humphrey marriage - 1905

On Tuesday, Aug. 22nd, at the residence of Moseignneur Ryan, of St. Patrick's church, Rev. Father Dowling officiating, occurred the marriage of Ed C. Beers and Miss Annie Humphrey. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Beers, of this place. The bride is an adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Humphrey, of Monona, but for several years has resided at Elkader with the family of her brother, James Humphrey. Mr. and Mrs. Beers went to Minneapolis last week, enroute to the Pacific coast.
