Whalen - Duffy marriage - 1904

Wednesday morning occurred the marriage of Miss Ella Duffy, of Monona, and John Whalen, of this place, at St. Patrick's church, of Monona, Father Hogan officiating. They were attended by Blanche Anderson and Pat Parker. The bride is well known here, having made her home here formerly. The groom is a brakeman on the I. & D. division and is well and favorably known here. They left for Minneapolis on their wedding tour, and will be at home to their friends at North McGregor in a short time.
