A beautiful and impressive wedding took place at the Giard Methodist church Thursday afternoon, July 18, when Miss Alice Wickersheim and Lester Stephan, of Winona, Minn., were united in marriage by Dr. Parrish. Miss Ruth Wickersheim served as maid of honor. The groom was attended by Arthur Kitt, of Winona, Minn. Irene Wickersheim was flower bearer. After the dinner the couple left for a trip to Yellowstone and the Black Hills, expecting to be gone two weeks. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. B. Wickersheim, a well known family of McGregor. She is a graduate of Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls, and has been very successful in her profession as primary teacher at Leghorn and Winona, Minn. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stephan of Winona, Minn. They will be at home to their friends at 527 West 5th Street, Winona, Minn., where the groom is employed as advertising sales manager in the International Harvester Company.
