A pretty wedding was solemnized at the George Burghart home in McGregor, Iowa, when their third daughter, Miss Florence Charlotte, was united in marriage to Mr. Lee B. Beckett, of Dubuque. The Rev. Wm. W. Maxwell, of the Congregational church of Strawberry Point officiated. The groom is a native of Dubuque and is employed as a clerk in the Internal Revenue office of that city. He was in overseas service in France during the World War, and is the eldest son of Geo. W. Beckett. The brother of the groom, Mr. Frank C. Beckett, served as groomsman and Miss Sarah Burghart, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid. The bride's little niece, Elsie Burghart, attended as flower girl. Mr. and Mrs. Beckett, after a short honeymoon, will be at home after Sept. 1st at 550 West Eighth St., Dubuque.
