Schroeder - Straus marriage - 1933

Guttenberg: Miss Marie Straus, daughter of Mrs. Marie Straus of Volga township, and Mr. Delbert Schroeder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Schroeder, of Jefferson township, were married by the Rev. W. J. F. Adix at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church here Wednesday in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The couple were attended by Miss Minnie Straus, sister of the bride, and Mr. Floyd Schroeder, brother of the groom. The bride is a graduate of Guttenberg High school. The groom is an ambitious young man of excellent habits. After a honeymoon trip to various Iowa points, they will make their home on a farm near Guttenberg.
