Sassen - Wareham marriage - 1928

Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic church occurred the marriage of Miss Irene Wareham of this place and Mr. Roy Sarsen [sic] of Guttenberg, Rev. Bowen oficiating. They were attended by Miss Kathryn Emerson and Alfred Sarsen of Guttenberg, brother of the groom. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mrs. Lizzie Wareham and has spent nearly all her life here. The groom comes as a stranger but we hear only good words of him. The newlyweds will be at home in Guttenberg where the room has a position
