Leahy - Quinn marriage - 1928

The marriage of Miss Agnes S. Quinn of Volga City and Mr. John R. Leahy of Wadena was solemnized Wednesday morning, Sept. 19, at Sacred Heart church, the pastor, Rev. D. P. Cregan officiating. Thet were attended by Miss Irene Iverson and Luke Quinn, a brother of the bride. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Quinn. She recently completed a course in beauty culture and since that time has been operating the Oriental Beauty Shop here. The groom, with his brothers, for the past few years, has been farming on an extensive scale and own several hundred acres of choice farm land between this city and Wadena. After an extensive honeymoon auto trip through Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, they expect to be at home after Nov. 1st in Volga City.
