ALBERT J. FELDERS TO OBSERVE THEIR 50th ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Felder will observe the Golden Anniversary of their marriage on Sunday, July 14 at St. Mary’s Church with a Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated by Rev. Nicholas Cigrand.

A dinner will be served to the immediate family at the Municipal building with an open house from 2 to 4 in the afternoon.

Mr. Felder and the former Rose Miller of Hiteman, Iowa, were married at St. Mary’s on July 15, 1913 by the Rev. Joseph Brinkman. They are the parents of six children, Mrs. Francis (Martha) Whittenbaugh of Oelwein, Miss Florence Felder of Troy, Missouri, Raymond Felder of Oelwein, Mrs. Leroy (Rita) McCauley of Shullsburg, Wisconsin, Lawrence Felder of Guttenberg and Mrs. Herb (Theres) Troester of Steele, No. Dakota. There are nineteen grandchildren.

Mr. Felder, now retired, worked 49 years as a telegraph operator and railroad station agent.
