Miss Marie A Lenth, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Lenth, was united in marriage with Mr. Irvin W. Wahls, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wahls of Farmersburg, Iowa, on Saturday, Sept. 24, 1927, at the Salem Lutheran parsonage at Albert Lea, Minn., by Rev. W. J. Stramberg. Miss Grace Lenth, a cousin of the bride acted as bridesmaid and Ralph Kleckner, a friend of the groom acted as best man, they were both of Riceville, Iowa. The bride is a graduate from the Elkader High School with the class of '24 and since graduating has been employed with local firms. The young man is a prosperous young farmer, They will be at home at a farm after march 1st, 1928. They took a trip to Dubuque, Milwaukee and Chicago, where they visited relatives and friends.
