Scherman - Wenzel marriage - 1927

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the Emanuel Lutheran church Thursday when Rev. M. Jahr, pastor of the church, united in marriage Miss Lela Wenzel and Gusta Scherman. They were attended by Mrs. Adella Steele, sister of the bride, and Joe Scherman, brother of the groom. After the ceremony a wedding feast was served at the home of the bride's parents. They left Friday on a short honeymoon to Chicago, after which they will make their home on a farm three miles from this place.
