A farmer named Geraghty, residing near Bunker Hill, Clayton County, was in McGregor on Monday, and in the evening started for home in company with Pat Hines. On arriving at the home of the latter, Hines invited him to eat supper. He seemed in good health and spirit when he sat down to supper. On taking the first mouthful he was seized with a violent coughing, and died in a few minutes.
