Manson - Otdoefer marriage - 1927

Last Thursday at the Lutheran church occurred the marriage of Miss Elsie Otdoefer of this place and Mr. Arthur F. Manson of Arlington, Rev. M. O. Jahr officiating. The couple was attended by Miss Loretta Nus and Mr. Anne_da Meisgeier, both of Arlington. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Otdoefer. She attended the local school, after which she attended college at Clinton, taking a stenographer's course. After finishing she secured a position at Dubuque and later returned home and was stenographer for Attorney Holmes and for the Fuehr & Little garage. The groom is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Manson of Arlington. After a brief honeymoon trip the happy couple will make their home at Arlington, where the groom is a rural mail carrier.
