Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith announce the marriage of their only daughter, Mrs. Helen Todd, to Mr. Reece Thomas of Oelwein. The wedding took place in the Congregational parsonage at Waterloo, April 28, 1927, but has been kept secret until now. The bride graduated from our local school and is a talented musician. She is also a graduate of the Chicago Musical college in both piano and pipe organ. For some time she has been the organist in the theatre at Oelwein. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hart of Oelwein. He is employed as a fireman on the Chicago, Great Western railroad. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas are making their home in Oelwein.
