Mr. and Mrs. John P. Eckart of Guttenberg, Iowa,announce the marriage of their daughter, Una W., to Mr. Harold C. Vermilya, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theron Vermilya of Mason City, Iowa, which took place at Chicago, Illinois, April 16, 1927. The ceremony was conducted by Pastor Goebel at the Evangelical church parsonage and witnessed by Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Matthes and Mr. Henry C. Eckart. Mrs. Vermilya is a graduate of the Guttenberg high school and the Iowa Teachers College, Cedar Falls, Iowa. For the past year she has been engaged as a teacher in the Guttenberg public schools. Mr. Vermilya is a graduate of the Mason City High School and attended Iowa State College, Ames, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Vermilya will reside in Buffalo, N.Y., where he is employed as assistant chemist of the General Portland Cement Company.
