Welch - James marriage - 1926

At the home of the groom's brother, Clyde Welch, at Waterloo, Christmas Day, occurred the marriage of Miss Mary Ella James, of Stanley, and Mr. George Welch, of this place, an M.E. minister officiating. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Mary James of Stanley. The groom is employed in the Franklin Hotel Barber Shop, is a veteran of the World War and a member of the 34th of 109 Iowa ammunition train. Mr. and Mrs. Welch arrived here Monday evening and will be at home in the late Mrs. Liza Norris residence.
