Wistrick - Thurn marriage - 1919

Last Wednesday, Oct. 1st, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Thurn, occurred the wedding of their daughter, Miss Clara M. Thurn to William H. Wistrick of Elkader. Rev. Franke of the Ev. Friedens church of Elkader officiated. The couple were attended by the bride's sister and Ed. Leonard of Elkader. Miss Buleah Thurn acted as ring bearer. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Thurn and was born and educated near Edgewood. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wistrick of Elkader, and has been a farmer practically all his life. The young couple will be at home to their friends at Rock Island in about two weeks.
