Pufahl - Janzig marriage - 1916

On Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, in this city, Miss Lydia Janzig, of this city. and Mr. Edward H. Pufahl, of Monona township, were happily wedded. The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. John Janzig, of St. John's Lutheran Church, of this city, and father of the bride, in the presence of only near relatives. Miss Edith Janzig, sister of the bride, and Mr. Albert Pufahl, of Monona township, brother of the groom, were the attendants. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Pufahl, of Monona township. The groom is one of Clayton county's prospering young farmers. The couple left Thursday morning for a visit at points in Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota, after which they will return and make their home on a farm in Monona township.
