Bruns - Taylor marriage - 1916

BRUNS, TAYLOR, WARNING

A quiet wedding occurred Thursday evening at 8 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Warning, when their daughter, Mrs. Emma Taylor, and Mr. Charles Bruns, of Westgate, were united in marriage by Rev. Graf, pastor of the Lutheran Church. They were attended by Miss Freda Warning, sister of the bride, and Mr. Herman Novark, of Westgate. Mrs. Taylor for a number of years has been a successful teacher in Clayton county and is admired by all with whom she came in contact. Mr. Bruns comes as a stranger to us, but is one of Westgate's successful business men and we feel safe in saying he has made no mistake in choosing his helpmate. After the ceremony they left at once for Westgate, where the groom has a home waiting for his bride.
