Clinton - Burns marriage - 1911

George Clinton, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clinton, of this place, and Miss Addie Burns, of Volga City, sprung a neat surprise on their numerous acquaintances by getting married last week. Squire Stalnaker tied the knot and a dancing party at Reicharts' Hall after the ceremony helped swell the festivities of the occasion, a good time being had by all who attended. The new Mrs. Clinton is our primary teacher here and the best wishes of numerous friends of the contracting parties are freely expressed.
