Hulverson - Lembke marriage - 1911

A very pretty wedding was solemnized Tuesday evening at six at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Franz Lembke, of this place, when Miss Mary Lembke and Lars Hulverson were united in marriage in the presence of relatives and a few intimate friends, Rev. Franke, of the German church,, performing the ceremony. The bride has grown to womanhood here. The groom has also been a resident of Elkader for some years, he is a successful farmer and was the superintendent of the county Hospital for the Insane for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Hulverson will make their home in the residence on the Snedigar hill which Mr. Hulverson purchased some time ago.
