Riedel - Quinn marriage - 1911

At five o'clock Monday morning in St. Joseph's church Rev. F. J. Reilly spoke the wedding service which united the lives of Miss Rose M. Quinn and Mr. Chauncey C. Riedel, of this place. Miss Ella Maley was bridesmaid and James Quinn, brother of the bride, was groomsman. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Quinn. They will soon begin housekeeping in apartments in the Molumby block. The bride has grown to womanhood in Elkader and for some time has been employed in the local telephone exchange. Mr. Riedel formerly lived in West Union, but located here some two or three years ago for the practice of his profession, being a member of the firm of Beamer & Riedel, veterinary surgeons.
