Russell - Henkes marriage - 1911

At the beautiful farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Henkes, in Wagner township, on Wednesday, Nov. 29th, 1911, their youngest daughter, Miss Lottie M., was united in marriage to Mr. Joseph W. Russell, of Elkader, in the presence of immediate relatives and friends of the family. They were attended by Miss Cora Henkes, a sister of the bride, and Mr. Ben Barghahn, of Elkader. Rev. H. F. Rabe, of Monona, officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Russell will visit Mr. Russell's relatives at Fredericksburg, Iowa, after which they will be at home at Elkader.
