Miss Clara Rodenberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rodenberg, of Jefferson township, and Mr. Arthur Hagen, son of Mrs. Caroline Hagen, of Jefferson township, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. Emil Lehne this (Thursday) afternoon at St. John's Evangelical church, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The couple was attended by Miss Hilma Hagen, sister of the groom, and Mr. Henry Rodenberg, brother of the bride. After the marriage ceremony at the church a reception was tendered the happy young couple at the home of the bride's parents, at which a number of relatives and friends were present, and most pleasant social hours were spent by all. The bride is a young lady who is highly qualified in every respect to preside over a home of her own and will make a loving wife for the young man of her choice. The groom is one of this community's progressive young farmers. He is a young man who has won the respect of all who know him. Mr. and Mrs. Hagen will reside on a farm in Jefferson township, and their many friends wish them a long, happy and prosperous wedded life.
