Mr. Gaylord Oelke and Iva Palas were quietly married at the home of the bride Tuesday afternoon. Miss Koss of Garnavillo was bridesmaid and Mr. Palas, a brother of the bride, acted as best man. Rev. Braun of Garnavillo officiated. A six o'clock dinner was served to the near relatives and a shower was given the bridal couple at the Farmersburg Opera House.
