Hagensick - Diers Marriage - 1901

HAGENSICK, DIERS

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Diers in Read twp., yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Freda A., and Mr. John L. Hagensick. Rev. F. W. Seifert officiated in the presence of a few intimate friends and relatives of the contracting parties. The bride and groom are from among the most worthy young people of the township. The groom is an industrious young farmer, a brother of J. G., H. H. and Mary of Elkader, and is now working the farm of his uncle J. C. Hagensick in Read, where the young couple will settle to begin the battle of life. May their's be one of health, peace and prosperity.
