Another wedding which was a surprise to our people, was the marriage of Miss Hazel Connors of this place to Mr. Hartwig of Rockwell City, which occurred at Manchester last Thursday, Rev. Beatty, pastor of the M.E. church performing the ceremony. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. D. Eckhart. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Connors. Upon her graduation with the class of 1918, she took up teaching and the past year has taught at Richards, Iowa. She has many friends and acquaintances in this community, where she has grown to womanhood. The groom is a stranger here but we understand he is one of Rockwell City's prosperous farmers. After a few days visit here with the bride's parents, and at Arlington with her sister, Mrs. Herb Hesner, the newlyweds will leave this week for their home in Rockwell City with their friends wishing them every happiness in their journey through life.
