Berns - Eilers marriage - 1921

St. Mary's church, of this city, was the scene of a very pretty wedding ceremony on Tuesday morning, April 12, 1921, at nine o'clock, when Rev. J. H. Brinkman united in holy wedlock, Miss Josephine Eilers, of Guttenberg, and Mr. Francis X. Berns, of Tilston, Manitoba, Canada. The couple was attended by Miss Margaret Burr, of Guttenberg, and Mr. Carl Berns, of Jefferson township. After the marriage ceremony at the church a reception was held in honor of the happy young couple at the home of the groom's parents in Jefferson township, at which a large number of relatives and friends were present, and most enjoyable hours were spent by all in attendance. They will make their future home on the groom's farm near Tilston, Manitoba, Canada.
