The St. Joseph's church was the scene of a pretty fall wedding on Monday morning, November 18, at eight o'clock, when Miss Blanche Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Bailey, became the bride of Mr. Edward A. Burlingame Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Burlingame Sr. The Rev. J. P. Taken officiated at the single ring ceremony. Miss Irene Burlingame, a cousin of the groom and a student at Clarke college, sang the communion hymn and for the bridal party's recession from the church. Following the church ceremony the bridal party and their immediate relatives and friends went to the home of the bride's parents, where the wedding breakfast was served.
Immediately after the breakfast the bridal couple left for a motor trip to Chicago where they will enjoy the pleasures of the city. After November 22, they will be at home in the Burlingame apartments which have been remodeled and furnished completely for the new bride and groom.
