A pretty wedding was solemnized at the Zion's Evangelical Lutheran church at Clayton Center on Wednesday afternoon, October 30, at two o'clock, when Miss Inez Funk, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Funk, became the bride of Mr. Willy Ruhser, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Ruhser of Suederan, Holstein, Germany. Attending the couple were Miss Pearl Tackman, a cousin of the bride, and Mr. Raymond Jost, a close friend of the couple. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. O. F. Melchert
Following the ceremony, the bridal party motored to Guttenberg to have photographs taken. At five o'clock a delicious chicken dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents. A reception was held at the Turner Hall at Garnavillo that same evening.
At present Mr. and Mrs. Ruhser will be at home with the bride's parents near Clayton Center.
