Lau - Becker marriage - 1935

The marriage of Miss Dorothy Becker of this place, to Harold Lau of Guttenberg, occurred last Wednesday, Sept. 4th, at the Evangelical Lutheran parsonage at Manchester. The ceremony was performed by the pastor, Rev. Adix. There were no attendants. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Becker. She attended the local school and graduated with the class of 1932. The groom, a son of Mrs. Dorothy Lau of Guttenberg, has been employed on construction work the past year. The new home will be made at Guttenberg, where the groom has employment on the government dam. The best wishes of the community go with this wedded couple.
