Jean Borland of Oelwein was maid of honor and Robert Reed, brother of the groom, was best man. Donald Schoentag, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer and Janice Gehring, niece of the bride, was flower girl. The attendants were Gertrude Schoentag, sister of the bride, and Howard Mason, Jean Smith and Howard Eppler. The ushers were Ruth Hagge and Vernon Burrack.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sigmund F. Schoentag. She received her education in the Strawberry Point public school from which she graduated in 1932.The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Reed of Lamont. He received his education in the Lamont school and at present is employed in the creamery as buttermaker. The couple will reside in Lamont.
