Dinan - Behrens marriage - 1935

St Mary's church at Strawberry Point was the scene of an impressive and beautiful wedding ceremony Tuesday morning, June 18, at eight o'clock, when Miss Gretchen R. Behrens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Behrens of Elkader, became the bride of Mr. Richard H. Dinan, son of Mrs. Margaret Dinan of Littleport. The Rev. P. J. Boyle officiated at the ceremony.

Miss Eileen Dinan served as bridesmaid and Robert Dinan attended the bridegroom.

The bride was graduated from the Elkader high school and the Finley school of nursing, Dubuque. The groom is a graduate of the Littleport high school.

A wedding breakfast was served to members of the immediate families at the Dinan home, following the marriage ceremony.
