A simple, yet lovely wedding ceremony took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dahl near St. Olaf on Wednesday, June 5th, at one-thirty o'clock, when their daughter, Mildred, became the bride of Mr. John F. Kuehl, Jr., of near Elkport. The bridal couple was led into the room by their attendants, Miss Dorothy Kuehl, sister of the groom, and Mr. Harold Dahl, brother of the bride. At the beginning of the service a solo, "The Sweetest Story Ever Told," was rendered by Mrs. Chas. Gossman, an aunt of the bride, after which the Rev. O. F. Melchert performed the double ring ceremony. In conclusion, Mrs. Gossman sang, "I Love You Truly." A wedding supper was served to the bridal party at three-thirty o'clock. In the evening a shower was given in honor of the young couple at the River View hall. Mr. and Mrs. Kuehl will reside on a farm near Elkport.
