Miss Lillian Marie, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. H. J. Feulner, and Donald W., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Tinker, both of Strawberry Point, were united in marriage at the Emanuel's Lutheran church Thursday evening at 7:30, Helen Jahr presiding at the organ. Ushers, Eldon Stafford and Arthur Carpenter, cousin of the groom, led the wedding party, followed by the two bridesmaids, Ivadelle Carpenter, cousin of the groom, and Adrian Rowell. The bride followed the maid of honor, Burdina Meyer, of Chicago, and advanced to the alter where they met the groom and best man, Delos Tinker, his brother, of Iowa City. The single ring ceremony was performed by the pastor, the Rev. Max O. Jahr.
The bride graduated from the Strawberry Point public school in 1933, after which she attended the Elkader Junior College. She is a talented musician. The groom graduated from the local school in 1927. He was a helper in the local depot and at present is engaged in business.
Following the ceremony, a buffet luncheon was served to about 80 guests at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Tinker left on a motor trip through Illinois and Indiana and upon their return they will make this place their home. Friends extend their best wishes for a happy married life.
