Lyons - Moser marriage - 1935

The marriage of Miss Vera Mae Moser and Eddie Arthur Lyons, both of Strawberry Point, occurred Saturday evening at the Lutheran parsonage in Fairbank, the pastor, Rev. Heilmann, officiating. They were attended by Miss Henrietta Brockens of Strawberry Point and Glen Reese of Waterloo.

The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Moser and graduated from the local public school in 1932, after which she took two years' course and graduated from the Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. For the past year she has been teaching.

The bridegroom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Lyons. After graduating from the local school in 1932 he assisted his father in the telephone work for a while. At present he is employed at the Russel-Lamson hotel at Waterloo where they will be at home to their many friends after June 1.
