Guttenberg: Miss Dorothy Dittmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Dittmer of Guttenberg, and Howard W. Saeugling, son of F. J. Saeugling of Guttenberg, were married by the Rev. C. A. Jacobi at St. Paul's Lutheran church on Saturday evening at six o'clock, in the presence of relatives and friends. The couple was unattended.

The bride is a young lady of many accomplishments. She is a graduate of the Guttenberg high school. Later she took a course in beauty culture at Dubuque, and has been employed at beauty culture work at Dubuque since that time and up to the present time. She is also one of Guttenberg's talented musicians.

The bridegroom is an ambitious young man of excellent habits. He is a graduate of the Guttenberg high school. Later he attended the Elgin Horological School at Elgin, Ill., learning the jewelry and watchmaker's trade. For a time he was employed at his trade at the John Purnhage jewelry store here and at Elkader and McGregor. Later he took and passed the government civil service examinations, and at the present time has a position at the U.S. Engineer's office here, during the construction work of the lock's and dam here.

After a wedding trip to points of interest in the south, Mr. and Mrs. Saeugling will return to Guttenberg to reside, and the best wishes of a host of friends go with them on their journey through life.
