Marriage Licenses - December 1949

Three Clayton county couples were issued marriage licenses last week, according to the office of R. M. Downing, clerk. They were:

Wayne Charles Goering and Esther Elizabeth Jewell, both of Edgewood.
Gerald M. Stence, Elkader, and Wanda Mae Zittergruen.
Reuben C. Werges, McGregor, and Viola A. Walke, Guttenberg.

The only wedding license issued last week went to Lester P. Lanelli, Reno, Nev., and Mary Jane Charlesworth, Guttenberg, who received their license Dec. 12 in the office of R. M. Downing, clerk.

Five couples received marriage licenses from the office of R. M. Downing, Clerk, during the week ended Saturday, Dec. 24. Licenses went to:

Byron W. Graybill and Jo Ann Parker, both of Guttenberg.
LaVerne W. Owen, Viola, Wis., and Dorothy Grace Hauge, Viroqua, Wis.
Orville Stannard and Wilma Alderson, both of Elkader.
Melvin Poole, Richland Center, Wis., and Vera Davis, West Lima, Wis.
William W. LeBlond and Flora M. Motley, both of Wichita, Kan.
