The marriage of Miss Dorothy Kurth, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Kurth of Luana, and Harold Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Peterson of St. Olaf, was solemnized at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 12, in St. John's Lutheran church, Farmersburg. The Rev. R. H. Steege officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Vocal music was by Mrs. Betty Krambeer and Miss Arlene Lenth, cousin and fiend of the bride. Miss Eldonna Kurth, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor, and Miss Gale Kurth, also a sister of the bride served as bridesmaid. Marilyn Kurth, youngest sister of the bride, was flower girl. Ronald Kurth, cousin of the bride, served as ringbearer.
Wayne Peterson attended his brother as best man, and Freddie Peterson of Dubuque served his cousin as groomsman. Buddy Koopman, cousin of the bride, and Peter Peterson, cousin of the bridegroom, were ushers.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors for immediate relatives.
Those attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kurth, Mason City, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bergan, Plymouth.
