Riemath - Yeisley marriage - 1949

Miss Alta Yeisley, daughter of Harley E. Yeisley of Mt. Vernon, and Richard E. Riemath, son of Fred Riemath of Strawberry Point, were married Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. A. W. Davis of Ames. The Rev. H. M. Tiffnay of Chapin officiated at the ceremony.

Attending the bride was Miss Clare Yeisley of Cedar Rapids, a sister of the bride, and the best man was H. M. Tiffnay of Fowler, Ind.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony with Mrs. Eunice Douglas of Ames pouring.

Out of town guests included: Miss Bertha Riemath, Mrs. Malcolm Kramer and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reil, Strawberry Point; Harley Yeisley, Mt. Vernon; the Rev. and Mrs. H. M. Tiffnay, Chapin; Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Tiffnay, Judy and Avery, Fowler, Ind.

The couple left immediately after the reception for a wedding trip to Chicago.

After Nov. 20 they will be at home in Strawberry Point. Mr. Riemath is one of the local rural mail carriers there.
