At ten o'clock Saturday morning Miss Margaret Boland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Boland of Strawberry Point, and William Hardy of Denver, Colo., son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hardy of Long Island, N.Y., exchanged marriage vows. The Rev. Wilfred Kress read the single ring ceremony in St. Mary's Catholic church.
Attending the couple were the bride's sister, Miss Ann Boland, as maid of honor, and Mrs. William Wenger of Waverly, also a sister, and Miss Mary Siegel of Denver, Colo., as bridesmaids. J. R. Jones of Denver served as best man. Charles Boland of Cedar Rapids and William Wenger of Waverly, brother and brother-in-law of the bride, were ushers. Barbara Ann Boland was flower girl.
The bride graduated from the Strawberry Point high school and from Mercy hospital school of nursing in Cedar Rapids. For the past two years she has been employed in the St. Anthony hospital in Denver, and at present is on the nurses staff at Mercy hospital in Denver.
The bridegroom attended the University of Colorado, the University of Missouri, the University of Wyoming, The University of Paris, and graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in political science and modern languages. At present he is employed by the Gates rubber company in Denver, being in charge of European sales.
The couple left on a trip to Chicago. The new home will be in Denver.
