Miss Betty Lou Heins of Luana, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Heins, became the bride of Henry Geick of Guttenberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Geick, at 10 o'clock Tuesday, May 17, at the St. John's parsonage in Guttenberg. The Rev. W. F. Domres performed the double ring ceremony.

Attending the bride were her sisters, Miss LaVonne Heins as maid of honor, and Miss Shirley Mae Heins as bridesmaid. Frank Troester attended the bridegroom as best man.

After the ceremony at the parsonage a dinner was served to the immediate relatives at the home of the bride's parents. A parcel shower was given in the newlyweds honor at Lakeside Ballroom that evening.

The couple left Wednesday for a short wedding trip to Des Moines. They also stopped at Moline, Ill., to visit the bride's sister, Mrs. Nicholas Dietz. On their return they will be at home on a farm near Guttenberg.
