Torsrud - Andermann marriage - 1949

TORSRUD, ANDERMANN, OLSON

The marriage of Miss Annabell Andermann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Andermann, and Lester Torsrud, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tov Torsrud, both of St. Olaf took place at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the St. Olaf Lutheran chapel. The Rev. S. J. Strandjord performed the ceremony.

Miss Betty Andermann attended her sister as bridesmaid. Doug Houg, friend of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Marion Olson and Arne Strandjord.

Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held in the chapel parlor. Mrs. Marion Olson, sister of the bridegroom served the wedding cake. Miss Donna Thein, a friend of the bride, poured the coffee.

The bride is a graduate of the Elkader high school and of the Waterloo school of Beauty Culture and is now employed at Petzer Beauty shop at Waterloo.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the Elkader high school and attended one year Junior college there. At present he is a student of the Milwaukee school of Engineering, Milwaukee, Wis. In the near future the couple will make their home in Milwaukee.
