St. John's church at Farmersburg was the scene of a candlelight wedding when Ethelyn Kurth, daughter of Mrs. Elmer Radloff, became the bride of Harley Herrmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Herrmann, St. Olaf, on April 16, at 7 o'clock p.m. The Rev. R. H. Steege officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Vernon Kurth. Barbara Kurth, sister of the bride, and Mae Poppen, friend, of Allison, were maid of honor and bridesmaid respectively. Clifford Christianson, a friend, served as best man and Ray Herrmann, brother of the groom, was groomsman. Bill Otterbeck and Henry Wilke, friends of the couple, were ushers.
After a week-end trip in Wisconsin, the couple will be at home in Waverly, Iowa, where both are employed.
