On the afternoon of June 4, 1924, at the Lutheran Parsonage at Clermont, was solemnized the wedding ceremony of Mary Johansen and Lloyd Ostlie, the nuptial words being spoken by Rev. Gunsten of Clermont. The bridal couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Johansen and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ostlie.

After the ceremony the bridal party and their immediate relatives gathered at the home of the bride's parents where a bounteous wedding supper was served. The happy couple departed that same evening for a weeks motor trip to parts of northern Wisconsin.

The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Johansen of Gunder and is well known in that community. She was a member of the graduating class of 1919 of the Elkader High School and since then has been one of the county's successful teachers.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Ostlie of Clermont and is known as one of the neighborhood's most promising young farmers.

Mr. and Mrs. Ostlie will reside on the farm of the groom's parents near Clermont. A wide circle of friends join in wishing them a very happy wedded life.

Elkader Register, Thur., 19 June 1924.
