A pretty wedding ceremony uniting two worthy young people was solemnized in the St. Mary's Catholic church, last Wednesday morning, when Miss Fern Moser became the bride of Mr. Clarence Emmons. Rev. Casey performing the ceremony and celebrating the Nuptial High Mass. They were attended by Miss Opal Moser and Mr. Cecil Emmons, sister and brother of the bride and groom. At the close of the ceremony Miss Helen Hurley sang "I Love You Truly." The bride was prettily attired in a sand color tailored suit with hat to match. Her flowers were bridal roses and sweet peas. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the immediate families and a few friends at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Moser. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Moser and is a charming and accomplished young lady. She attended the local high school from which she graduated with the class of 1923. Last fall she commenced teaching in a rural school gaining the love and respect of both pupils and parents and will finish the remainder of the term. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Emmons, north of town, and is a trustworthy young man of good habits. After a short honeymoon trip to Dubuque and points in Illinois they will return to this place and after the bride has completed her school they will commence housekeeping. The groom will begin working in the Fuehr and Little garage. Congratulations for a happy wedded life is the wish of their many friends.
